What Is a Bridge anyway?

A dental bridge helps to replace missing teeth or large gaps between teeth. That's why they are called "bridges" because they span the space between your already existing teeth.

The most common condition that precipitate the need for a bridge is gum disease, tooth decay, and injury. Once a tooth is missing you can begin to experience extra stress or discomfort when chewing. Depending on where the teeth are missing, it may also affect your self-esteem and desire to share your smile.
